Abby Kaiser, Founder and CEO
Abby Kaiser is the Founder and CEO at Blue Horizon Tek. Abby’s career spans over 30 years where she began at what was once the Big 8 Accounting Firm, Deloitte, Haskin and Sells (Deloitte and Touche). After leaving public accounting, Abby joined Paramount Pictures and continued her accounting career at the multibillion dollar media and entertainment conglomerate, Viacom, Inc. Abby’s career took off on a very quick trajectory being promoted to Vice President, Assistant Treasurer for all domestic and global cash management, foreign currency risk management and investment oversight for all of Viacom’s 401(k) and pension assets. Upon leaving Viacom, Abby started her own accounting and finance organization with clients throughout NY, including IT staffing company, Eric Robert Associates. After several years with Eric Robert Associates, Abby founded her own IT staffing company based in South Florida, Blue Horizon Tek Solutions, Inc. including Blue Horizon Tek, BHT Tactical Solutions and Vets4IT.
At Blue Horizon Tek Solutions, Abby takes the financial reigns and is responsible for all financial and business aspects and decisions for the company. She is also the Co-Head of Values at Blue Horizon where she works closely with Eric Silverman to drive the culture of the firm, keeping to the core values it’s built on and ensuring they flow consistently throughout the company day by day.
Eric Silverman, Co-Founder and COO
Eric Silverman is the Co-Founder and COO at Blue Horizon Tek Solutions. Eric brings to the company over 30 years of experience in the IT staffing industry. Eric began his staffing career in 1986 with kForce, formerly known as Source EDP. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Eric went on to create Eric Robert Associates in 1991, which soon became one of New York’s premier IT staffing and consulting firms. After moving to Florida, Eric co-founded Blue Horizon Tek Solutions along with Abby Kaiser to continue his work in IT Staffing.
Eric is dedicated and committed to superior service, 24/7 availability and continued emphasis on meeting the needs of constituents, clients and candidates in a timely manner. With a keen sense of communication and a strong belief in transparency, Eric is able to reduce time in filling critical open requirements by maintaining trusted relationships throughout the industry.
In addition to leading the business, Eric also dedicates his time to being a Professional Career Coach, guiding the careers of thousands of IT professionals including CIOs, CTOs, directors, project managers and developers. Eric is an active member of Tech Serve Alliance, a national association of computer consulting businesses, and the industry’s number one authority on ethics, integrity and best practices for the IT Staffing Industry.
Abby Kleinberg, Founding Member, Head of Recruiting
Abby Kleinberg is a founding member of Blue Horizon Tek Solutions. She began her career as an individual contributor where she was responsible for both new account development in addition to sourcing and recruiting talent for BHT clients. Abby is now a coach, mentor, trainer, and role model to the entire BHT team of recruiters. Abby is responsible the design, development, oversight and execution of the firm’s strategy to use a captive sourcing team in the Philippines. The team Abby has built is responsible for leveraging ALL available resources to source for our recruiters who ultimately make the first outreach. Abby is an inspiration not only to the candidates she represents but to the clients who have truly benefited from her efforts.
Gladys Santos Masalunga, Global Sourcing Manager
Gladys Santos Masalunga resides in the Philippines and runs Blue Horizon’s sourcing program. With over 20+ years in the IT staffing industry, Gladys has become an expert in the Boolean methodology on all internet platforms with huge success in identifying both passive and active job seekers. Additionally, Gladys is a Certified Linkedin Recruiter with an unprecedented level of success measured by her Inmail response rate and interview to placement ratio.
